When I started in 16mm, there wasn't anything like the amount of trade support for the hobby, so the 16mm Association produced their own coach kits. I bought one and built it up as far as this. Then it sat on a shelf in the workshop for TWENTY ONE YEARS!.
I decided that the line's 20th anniversary was excuse enough to finish the job off, so an underframe, axleboxes and wheels, couplings and a roof were added and the body repainted in standard MDLR livery. The result's quite pleasing!
In 2011, this coach passed to the Westwood & Loscoe Light Railway. |
