Passengers and traincrew alike were delighted with the new addition at Haddon station which fell off Santa's sleigh in 2006 - a cast-iron gent's loo, courtesy of GRS. The detail in the etches is quite delightful and assembly was not TOO difficult! Following a major rebuild, we had a station buiding, wooden platforms and lighting, all powered out of a set of batteries in the lamp room........ .............with the sidng moved to make room for the building! ............. a new building was purchased and built........ .............with the lighting all built in, and powered by batteries in the roof........ .......... so it's easy to take in. The whole kit & caboodle got put out in January 2010............... .......... though the lamp hut is now purely decorative............. The Juniper which grows here has not only overgrown the building site......... .......... it's totally obliterated the siding! |
