"To The Trains" (and the dragon??) In actual fact, July 27th 2003 was also the Family Fun Day for the residents of Golden Valley, and the Dragon was the bouncy castle!
The only stretch that hadn't been relaid was Haddon Yard...........
................... but all the buildings were put out ready...............
................... for the first passenger train: Keith Vernon's ex MDLR railcar..................
... to which he's added a luggage van.
Ray brought his (rather longer) similar railcar.

Martin brought his "Russell".......
..... and took its picture!
By late on in the afternoon, siding space was getting to be at a premium.
Martin also brought his modified "Katie with a Tender".
People were happy to sit down on the lawn.........
.......... though the best place to be was on the patio! |
