Having been given an oval of IP Engineering Table Top Track for review, and having fixed said track to a 2' by 4' baseboard, and having seen that there was no 16mm content at my local model railway show in Derby, I hatched A Cunning Plan. I would take the test track and a small quantity of stock, and set up a pop-up layout!

We walked into the exhibition as bold as brass, made it into the refreshment area............

.... in the historic 1839 Roundhouse, the oldest such building in the world. I never once got bothered by anybody from the Show, but there was quite a bit of public interest. |
