The track arrived today.............

.........and after experimenting a bit, I arrived at this layout.
I will buy another turnout, to give a kick-back siding off the existing one.
The baseboard will be 4' 3" X 2' 9" - it'll JUST go in the car!

The first train was hauled by "TIFFANY"........

.... who coped well with the tight curves...........

............ even with a wagon with a longer wheelbase.

The single axle drive locos didn't cope at all well...........

...........so I suspect I'll be adding 2 axle drive kits to them!

A railway in a box!

June 23rd saw the track layout finalised, after a turnout arrived from Bristol - glad I didn't pay the Ebay price!
The newly converted 2 axle drive motive power (can't really call 'em locos) Esme and Miss Tick have now proved their train hauling capabilities - all the f*rting around with Delryn chain was worth it!
